Like humpty but
You sat on the pier
Wood worn out
Far too long held

Until not
Tumble tumble drown
Water gave you it’s depth
Took your air for price
It’s icy hands chocked
Weed tangled in your breath
Then you were nothing
Until you became the black
Owned the black
Friended the black

Give in, give out

You CAN breathe underwater.
